Apply for Funding

In partnership with United Way of San Joaquin, our organizations have established a San Joaquin Emergency Response Fund, which we have seeded with an initial $75,000 investment. The Fund is intended to be responsive to the changing, long-term needs of our community, with an immediate focus on supporting nonprofit organizations serving the most vulnerable populations and to provide financial assistance to individuals and families most directly impacted by COVID-19. The San Joaquin Emergency Response Fund will provide a flexible vehicle for philanthropic funding to help our community during these difficult times.

Donations of any size are welcomed. Those wishing to contribute can make a secure tax-deductible donation in one of the following ways:

Stockton Children's Fund

The Stockton Children’s Fund was established by Brandin Cooks—native Stocktonian and wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams—and will serve as a philanthropic fund that can serve the immediate and longer-term needs of children and youth in the City of Stockton. The Fund’s immediate focus will be to help mitigate the disruptive effects caused by the COVID-19 health crisis related to food insecurity, childcare services for essential workers, and education challenges resulting from school closures.

  • Food insecurity—help provide nutritious meals to school age children in partnerships with public schools, emergency food banks, and other similar efforts
  • Childcare services for essential workers—help with the purchase of supplies, food, and other materials needed to support and keep safe childcare sites utilized by essential workers
  • Education challenges resulting from school closures—help children of Stockton’s primary and secondary schools bring education from the classroom into their homes
