A Visibility Grant is an in-kind, non-monetary grant of resources to a nonprofit organization. Philanthropy on Tap is a program of the Community Foundation of San Joaquin, organized and promoted in partnership with the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce. PROVIDING A PLATFORM
for local nonprofit organizations to showcase their work to the broader community;
ENHANCING COMMUNITY AWARENESS,
particularly in the business community, around the role and work of local nonprofit organizations; and
EXPOSING LOCAL NONPROFIT
organizations to potential donors, volunteers, and advocates.
Program Format: The format is intended to be informal with a “Question & Answer” style presentation coordinated in advance with the presenting nonprofit organizations. In order to promote a relaxed environment for participants, location consideration will be given to reputable business establishments in Stockton, that can provide beer, wine, and appetizer-style food.
Schedule: Four (4) Philanthropy on Tap events will be held in 2020 during the following months: March, May, July, and September

A Visibility Grant is an in-kind, non-monetary grant of resources to a nonprofit organization. The Visibility Grant will consist of CFOSJ and GSCC underwriting the cost of Philanthropy on Tap, which includes direct costs of up to $500 per Philanthropy on Tap event. Additional in-kind services will also be covered by the grant, such as cost of venue space, hosting expenses, and marketing of the event to the local business community.
